At the Department of Technology and Services, about 130 employees work within projects, development, property, parks/streets, culture/leisure, and meals/local cleaning, all tasked with making Båstad an attractive municipality to live, visit, and work in. The municipality's planning includes several development projects with clear detailed plans for the expansion of land for businesses and housing.

We are now looking for a driven and structured project manager in the development area who wants to help develop the municipality with the expansion of infrastructure for residential plots and business land.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of project manager, you primarily work with the implementation of various development projects involving the expansion of infrastructure in the areas of streets, parks, and water and sewage.

Several detailed plans are ready and are about to be expanded for public spaces and infrastructure, for example:

• Expansion of business land along road 105 in Förslöv.
• Expansion of business and residential land at Petersberg entrance Båstad.
• Expansion of residential land at the station in Båstad.

Your area of responsibility includes everything from supporting the planning process, preliminary design with cost estimation, design, procurement, construction, follow-up, and handover to management and operations. Priority tasks are the expansion of development areas, but it may also include other projects of varying scope.

As a project manager, you drive the projects according to established frameworks regarding technology, time, economy, and environment. You have close collaboration with your colleagues in parks/street, development, and planning departments. In addition to working on individual projects, you also have a role as an advisory specialist in the early phases of various projects and planning work.

Your assignment also includes leading and coordinating consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders who may be involved so that you work towards a common goal. The role also includes giving presentations to elected officials and management.

The position is placed in the support unit to the head of the Department of Technology and Services.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a civil engineering degree or other relevant education combined with professional experience that the employer deems equivalent.

You have experience in similar roles as a project manager or contractor as a project manager or equivalent in the construction field. Your knowledge of contract law (AB/ABT, AMA), calculations, and procurement (LOU) is very good. We would also like you to have experience and competence in the water and sewage area.

As a person, you are structured, self-driven, and have the ability to plan and coordinate your work. You find it important to create good order in complex projects. Since you will collaborate with colleagues within the administration and interact with several stakeholders, it is essential that you value good relationships and have strong communication skills in both speech and writing. A driver's license (B) is a requirement.
